StoryLine
In 2018, Wade Wilson uses Cable’s time-travel device to save his girlfriend Vanessa. He travels from his universe (Earth-10005) to Earth-616, hoping to join the Avengers. Happy Hogan rejects him, so he returns home. Six years later, Wade has broken up with Vanessa and retired as Deadpool. He now works as a used-car salesman with his friend Peter Wisdom.
During his birthday party, the Time Variance Authority (TVA) captures him. Mr. Paradox, an agent of TVA, explains they monitor the multiverse and offers Wade a role on Earth-616. Wade learns his timeline is deteriorating because Logan died protecting his daughter, Laura. Wade steals a device and tries to resurrect Logan but fails. He searches the multiverse for another Logan but finds the worst Wolverine. Paradox sends Wade and Logan to the Void, where they meet Cassandra Nova, the sadistic twin of Charles Xavier. Cassandra tries to kill them, but they escape and join a resistance group.
The group includes Laura, Elektra, Blade, and Gambit. They fight Cassandra, who almost dies but is saved by Wade. Cassandra then plans to destroy all timelines. She summons Deadpool variants to fight Wade and Logan. Peter distracts the variants while Wade and Logan destroy the Time Ripper device, killing Cassandra. The TVA arrests Paradox, and Wade asks them to save the resistance group and change Logan’s history. They can’t change Logan’s past but let him stay in Wade’s world. Wade reconciles with Vanessa with Logan’s encouragement.
